Alright, so this didn’t turn out green exactly and that’s because I like to add a small beet, which changes the bright green color to a deep dark red. Beets are great for flushing out toxins in the liver and are very cleansing to your body. That is, If you enjoy their taste. Remember, the richer the color of a veggie, the better it is for you.
Whenever I am not feeling my best, this is my go-to juice recipe. It’s really the best pick up! I’ve fought off many colds and viruses this way. Instead of taking a processed multi-vitamin, this is a my #1 alternative. Its fresh, raw and the best quality of nutrients that you can allow to enter your body.
It’s very important that you make this fresh, all organic and consume it in between meals. If you have it right after a meal, it can really upset your stomach. It’s best if taken 2 hours after a meal or at least 30 minutes before a meal. This way you also ensure maximum absorption. I’ve had my Breville Juicer for 2 years now almost and I absolutely love it.
