Hi everyone!! The start of 2018 has kicked off with lots of travel – we are in the process of selling our home and moving, and the same with my parents’ home. As we travel back and forth between SLO and LA nonstop, I’ve been working hard to travel lightly. I’ve fallen in love with my new nylon Montana bag from Hammitt – it’s the perfect carry-all for road-trips and beyond.
On our way down to LA, my husband and I alwaysss stop in Santa Barbara for some delicious tacos. We’re obsessed with Corazon Cocina! It’s our favorite spot and everything is so fresh! I wore my new nylon Montana crossbody bag and ended up wearing it for 2 weeks straight after that, lol! It’s so lightweight and goes with almost everything in my closet, PLUS I love the size! It comes in black too, it’s lighter than their leather bags and it’s made of the highest quality nylon which Hammitt found in Italy. Speaking of Italy, are any of you guys going this year??
Since I spend so much time on the road, I always make sure to wear something more comfortable. This season so far it’s been jeans and a [light] sweater. I have heels that I bring with me and put on after I’m done driving, lol. I wear flats when I drive. Anyone else do that?? Since I never know if I will have a last minute meeting, I make sure to bring accessories that can play up my outfit. In this case, my Montana bag, some cute pumps and statement earrings really elevated this casual look and I love how it all came together!
Life Update
I want to finish by saying how sorry I am for not bringing you guys blog posts as consistently as I used to. My blog has taken the biggest hit since life outside of blogging got so crazy end of 2017. With that said, I’ve got some new and exciting changes in the works here on The Charming Olive coming soon!! With these property sales in progress, it has been so busy! We’re closing on one property this week and I couldn’t be happier! I know that you guys understand and I love you for it!
