My Everyday Style

What a busy month December can be! Between rushing to get our holiday shopping done in time and then decorating our home, things have been laboring but peaceful at the same time. To keep it stress-free, I like to stay organized and keep focused on the essential tasks. This year I had to ask my husband for help with the decorating, because ain’t nobody got time for that alone! Haha, plus it’s more fun when you decorate together and then fight over which ornaments should be on the Christmas tree. Moments like these are priceless. 🙂

While I was leaving the post office a lady shouted across the parking lot to me ” I love your shoes! They’re perfect!” and I said back to her my thank you’s and that they’re from Payless, she was most impressed. When life gets busy I always turn to flats and more-so, to boots. This look has become my everyday style. Simple and easy. These boots have been a life-saver, or foot-saver, haha, not sure which one is better, but they have been amazing to my feet! This lace-up style bootie is always in style too! Have you noticed? Every year about this time I find myself searching for this kind of boot. Well, I am happy to finally have a wonderful pair that I love!

With all the lights on at our home, the cozy blankets out, candles burning and the holiday decorations up, I feel more relaxed and at peace, especially after a long and busy day. Can the holiday season be all year long? Maybe just the decorations could stay? 😉
