Hello friends, it’s been a while since my last blog post! I’ve missed writing on here sooo much!! So I’m going to dive right in and give you a little update.
These past 6 months have been nonstop! But in a good way!! Theres been so many good changes happening! First we started off the year with a 2 month long escrow on my parents home in LA. I was part of the transaction and part of the entire move-out, clean out. The transaction was the toughest I’ve ever endured as a Realtor. It was all sorts of stress, and with my parents living abroad in Europe, communication/legal was extra complicated. Between my blogging work and this transaction, I was traveling to LA back and forth multiple times a week. For those of you wondering thats 3-4 hours one way. This was a huuuuge undertaking and it was a long time coming. You guys have no idea how happy and relieved I am that it’s now a closed chapter (maybe more on this one day)! So that takes us up through mid March.
I remember coming back home completely exhausted and just diving right back into my work and emails. Some days later, when I literally broke down in tears because I was in need of a break so badly, we decided that we’ve earned ourselves a little time away. We booked a short getaway to Los Cabos, Mexico (in April)! That trip was everything and beyond!! It was my first time in Mexico and now my new favorite [local] getaway destination! I cannot wait to go back!! Between a work and travel, April passed just like that.
The past month I’ve been driving back and forth to LA for my blogging work quite a bit. One week I was sleeping an average of 4 hours a night and that was not very healthy, but I blame LA traffic for eating up all my sleep time! Now, the past 2 weeks I’ve been staying local because we’re getting ready to sell our house and move! Yes!! Another big project but we’re so thrilled about it! There’s a ton that goes into getting your property ready to sell. We’ve been emptying out our house and garage every spare moment we get. It seems never ending but it feels so refreshing to get rid of stuff. 🙂
Aside from being nervous about our move (we haven’t found our next home yet), I’m severely overdue in finding a local assistant/intern. I keep saying I’ll hire as soon as we know where we’re moving to. I needed the help months ago, lol! So for the time being, I’m doing my very best trying to stay afloat a little while longer. So please keep us in your prayers that things go smoothly!
For all the running around I’ve been doing these past few months, I’ve needed my favorite Levi’s jeans (under $100) and a comfy tee more than ever. I haven’t met a pair of Levi’s jeans I haven’t loved! Levi’s quality and styles are always on point!! I picked mine up from Nordstrom. I mean, aside from carrying all the cutest brands, it has been my go-to retailer for all my jeans, clothes and accessories since I was in High School!!! Did I ever tell you guys that I used to work at Nordstrom during my summer and winter breaks from school? Every penny I made just went back there. LOL! Anyone else?? I still treasure all the wonderful memories!

June 8, 2018 at 12:22 pmHey girl! So enjoyed the post! Sounds like you have been soo busy! I worked at the Nordstrom at The Grove – what seems like ages ago – and yess it was so hard to ever keep my paycheck 😂
My hubby and I are most likely moving to SLO in the next month or two 🤞🏼
Are y’all staying in the area or moving out of SLO county?
Xoxo

I wish there was a Nordstrom up here in SLO but Santa Barbara isn’t too far away either 🙂 It’s a lovely small town here, I fell in love! Looking to stay in the area but you never know! 😉 xx Adelina

June 8, 2018 at 3:10 pmI feel your pain! I feel like with my full time job, trying to grow my new blog, taking care of some things for tenants in a property I own, AND packing up my entire place to move I am also super stressed and not sleeping very much too! You are not alone girl! Hope you find some time for relaxation and sleep 🙂
