Happy Friday everyone!:) As the cool weather continues here in California so does the need for sweaters! So today, I wanted to share with you one way of how to style a simple sweater dress. I hope you will find this helpful – you can grab that old sweater you love so much, and turn into a completely fresh new look! I recently purchased this wonderful sweater dress from Lulu’s and it’s so comfy, and soft! So many ways to style it too; with leggings, over the knee boots, tights … you name it!

I then grabbed my beautiful grayish-purple scarf as seen above; it was a gift from a sweet girlfriend of mine; and it gave the simple sweater just the right amount of spice and style! I added a thin adjustable belt around the waist to keep the scarf in place, et viola! I was pleasantly surprised at how cute this came out. It’s all about the color combo (sweater & scarf), size of scarf (it must be of the blanket size or close to it), and the accessories which bring out a color from your outfit and then tie it all together. Easy as pie right?! :))
