Have you ever been to a flower field before? Believe it or not, I had not gone to one all my life until this trip! The flower field we visited is the one in Carlsbad, CA. We had some work in San Diego that week and on our drive down we decided we needed to make the trip, and luckily the field was still open so we decided to stop and enjoy.

It made me so happy to see about 50 acres of nothing but bursts of color everywhere! Countless amounts of Ranunculus flowers in all directions, it was a spectacular first time experience for me. If you are visiting Southern California you must stop by here, but first make sure you visit their website to make sure they’re open. Typically they are open between the month of March and beginning of May. Also, if you’re into smoothies, they make the yummiest strawberry smoothies! Yum! My husband and I were fighting over sharing one! Definitely getting my own next time around! 🙂

June 8, 2016 at 12:38 pmHi Meghan! These photos are from about a month ago now. They closed May 9th I think. It’s a little bit of something to plan for, or catch on accident (like I did) in the early spring 🙂
